About Us

We at NIBEDAN, when we made a humble beginning in the year 2001, we took a Pledge to devote some time off from our daily schedule and invest the same for the betterment and upliftment of the poor and the needy.  We vowed to work tirelessly to help the needy, in whichever way possible, be it monetary assistance, setting up blood donation camps, conducting free eye check-up camps etc.

We haven’t rested ever since.  Over the years, we have realized that we need more helping hands to strengthen our pledge and reach out to more areas, geographically and more strata of the society who have no one to fall back on.

We consider this all as a great opportunity to stand up in society and be counted.  As Swami Vivekananda once said: “They only live who live for others, the rest are more dead than alive”

We must understand that by helping the poor & the destitute, we are only paving our own way towards salvation and with that in mind we at NIBEDAN welcome you to join hands with us in our humble effort.

At present, with the limited resources monthly subscriptions from our members and meager donation from the locals, we have reserved our services in organizing Free Health Checkup Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Financial assistance to the diseased who deserves surgical treatment particularly to those below the poverty line.

We have experienced that, there are large demands, to fulfill the humble mankind. And this, besides physical assistance, deeply deserves financial assistance for the pious cause.
